If you have selected a great family ski resort, the icing on the cake is probably picking a great ski in ski out chalet and one with a child care service preferably. There are the specialist family ski companies such as Espirit and one or two others, but if you want high end luxury then you really do have to search around. Chalet Prarion in Chamonix offers both and is a rare exception.
Another option is the new ski in ski out chalets site that just does ski in ski out chalets and holidays although many of these do not include childcare. Nevertheless half the battle is getting children to the slopes so perhaps this is something that is non-essential if ski in ski out is one of the critical factors?
